Its been a busy week and a half since the last payday and it was a considerable shock this morning opening up my wallet this morning before leaving for work. Its never healthy this close before pay day on wednesday but today was an especially empty day. I never knew the moths ate plastic bank notes but it appears not only did they eat the notes but they took me out drinking with them as well. It was the nicest thing really for the circumstances.

Luckily for me and more particularly me at lunchtime I had a stroke of luck that at the time seemed small and inconsequential but to my rumbling stomach seemed like i had won the lottery. Which ironically its closer to the point than my stomach was aware. Last thursday night I won $23.50 on the thursday night which i collected on the way to subway to get a roll and it just goes to prove luck works in a funny way, in this case a 12 inch roll.

Saddly, since i didn’t win the big money on the lottery it means that i’m on the bus tomorrow. Maybe if i win the first prize in the lottery I can afford a full tank!
