I recently changed webhosts and returned to my original webhost Hostgator after spending some time with a different host. I didn’t leave the other host through unhappiness, just a better deal than the alternative was offering. Its basic economics really and without spite.

Since then the company I left has asked a couple of times about my reasons for leaving, what they can do better that sort of thing and i have been happy to oblige. They seem a good company and served my purposes quite well so i didn’t mind providing comments and advice as to what they could do better and my opinions of their service. I thought out what to say carefully and even researched a little bit if you can believe it to make sure what i said was the best. Hopefully the advice will help a little. But it sure took a chunk of my time and i’m sitting here thinking how did it get to be this time already?

Ironically to finish the email I provided them with a quote to hopefully help them on their way and provide them with guideance. Ironically it was from the blog of the CEO of Godaddy but thats a whole another post coming later.
