I remember an episode of The West Wing where they referred to fridays as laundry day and take out the trash day because they could dump stories that they didn’t want anyone to read on friday because people don’t read the paper on the weekends.

I have noticed a startlingly similar pattern with the blogs and journals that i read with only minimal posting over the weekends for the most part and it really doesn’t pick up until late monday my time as the North Americans come back from their weekends and things start ticking over again. I on the other hand try and buck the system, posting more on weekends to fill in the gaps and provide content that wouldn’t normally be out there in the hope that perhaps people spend a little more time reading my blogs/journal but having been looking at the stats of my hits and comments I think i might drop that idea, or alternatively write the posts and thanks to being able to control the time that they post, leave them to post during higher traffic days. Has anyone else had these kinds of thoughts or am I just over thinking things?
