There is the old wives tale of how some women just know the moment they get pregnant, long before any pregnancy tests can confirm this medical fact. Now that i think about it the alien chick in Species knew the moment too, not that I base that on any scientific fact since she turned into an ugly puppet and killed people.

I watched Hamburger Hill last night and with this flu I imagined that my white blood cells were running up trying to take the hill from this infection that i have been suffering from for the last week or so. I think during this thought process I might have been running a fever which would account for the thought process. But at 12:16am this morning on the return leg from a trip to the toilet i suddenly felt the infection give up and my immune system took the hill. It was strange, one moment sick, the next I was over it. Very odd and possibly still running a fever but i did have the sense to look at the clock.
