I’ve just finished performing an emergency dvdectomy on my parents dvd as it seems my father managed to get a dvd firmly stuck inside the machine and it wasn’t coming out. From at least my perspective dvds aren’t hard to use, you just put the dvd in the tray in the dvd tray in the part of the tray thats shaped like a dvd. Opening the dvd player up with a screw driver to fix the problem there was the dvd at least an inch away from where it goes and so i pushed it back into where it actually went so that the player.
Now i find myself wondering how it happened and more precisely how he manged to get it that wrong. Its not hard, my young niece and nephew manage to work it just find despite the fact that they can’t even reach the dvd player. Obviously once you reach a certain age, you can’t put dvds in the dvd shaped hole. Guess thats why they still keep their early 80s vcr.
