I think i could get used to this sitting home on my arse as i’m enjoying this christmas break more than i expected. The cricket is on the tv, the dog is happily curled up on my bed the way only a dog can curl up. Occassionally he wakes up and has a look around before sighing and putting his head on.
During the lunch break in the cricket they had The Cricket Show on as always and part of that was the “Master Class” where they spoke to three batsmen about their choice of bat. Ricky Ponting (Australian Captain) and Andrew Symonds were predictable but then having Glen McGrath giving advice on bat choice was a little suprising since even with recent improvements in his ability, McGrath giving bat choice would be criminal if there was a law against it and on reflection there should probably be.
Now I’ve got the pleasure of watching Hayden and Symonds bating well to watch. Later.

I dunno, actual batsmen can get a little overboard with all their selection criteria… Having McGrath have a say probably simplified it a lot for younger players…
