Thank you for those that posted kind comments after yesterday’s unfortuate news. I work up today hating the world and all its people and plotted its destruction. In other words situation normal. Tonight will be a trial but then it always seems to be.
I’ve become a bit of the photography nut it seems. Yesterday was a beautiful day with deep blue sky and hardly a cloud in the sky and so I took many photos and then finished the roll last night doing night time photography with timed exposure shots, something i have always wanted to try and never had the chance. The results I’m happy with although i noticed that it seems hard to get the camera focused at night to a sharp picture. Over the coming weeks those photos together with left over photos from my digital are going to get posted daily on my photo blog Whole Universe.
Today turned out to be a rainly, gloomy day and i got my first roll of film developed. Then the weather lightened a little and i took the chance to go through an entire roll of film photographing … plants. I took a trip to the botanical gardens for the first time in a very long time and took many photos, then finished it off on the river foreshore and in a grave yard. Bit late to get it developed today so maybe tomorrow. Shots include a delightful little Japanese Garden (where my friends Dean & Maree are getting married) and while i have no idea if i actually captured it in frame or not, a dive bombing duck intent on occupying the same airspace as my head.
