Great blunders are never made alone

Maybe its just me but i do admit to finding a little bit of irony downloading the latest internet explorer 7 beta while reading an article titled The Great Microsoft Blunder which pulls no punches in saying what the author is thinking and starts gently like this:.

I think it can now be safely said, in hindsight, that Microsoft’s entry into the browser business and its subsequent linking of the browser into the Windows operating system looks to be the worst decisionâ€”and perhaps the biggest, most costly gaffeâ€”the company ever made. I call it the Great Microsoft Blunder.

Guess that guy said what he really thought!

Anyway I’ll pass on what i think about it when i’ve had a chance to play a little. Personally i think i will be staying with Firefox, my one true love in a nasty internet world.
