After my earlier post regarding blogspam i’m happy to say that the barricades are holding very well indeed. According to the relevant logs the anti spam plugins i am now employing have prevented the staggering figure of 1689 blog spam comments from being posted to my blog with a success rate of 100%. But the most staggering thing is that the figure of 1689 comments is from the last 24 hours and i can understand why less technologically savvy bloggers are likely to just be giving up blogging or allowing comments under the avalanche of spam coming their way.

that is pretty impressive, how come you are being targetted so badly? i should check my spamcount.

Lori – i’m not sure why – i guess its either because i’m so interesting and good looking …. or more likely they just have me somewhere near the top of their list.
