I was reading this Propellerhead post that tells me the sad news that the last support for Windows 98 will be ceasing as microsoft ends all paid support for the platform.

While i’m a Windows XP user these days, windows 98 and in particular second edition has always been my favourite version of windows. I found that unlike a lot of other versions of windows it was stable and robust and i hardly ever saw the dreaded blue screen of death. It just worked the way that it should have, unlike a lot of other versions that i have encountered in the past.
