I’ve been keenly watching the world cup group F match between Australia and Croatia this morning. It was an exciting game with my team Australia having to twice come from behind and my heart was in my mouth with late attacks on goal. The draw was enough to see Australia get through to the next round so bring on Italy.

I think the best thing that could have happened to Australian Soccer is the Aussies getting into the world cup, suddenly soccer has made it to the front page of the papers from somewhere deep in the sports pages for most Australians
