It happens around this time every year with my blog, i get bored with it after about a year and get the urge to move on to a new blog. Just about this time last year i closed my previous blog and moved to this one. Now a year later I have the same urge to dump and run, to start fresh with a new blog the same way i did around this time last year.

Strangely another reason is that makes me wonder why i would ever consider changing blogs is that this one makes money. Not mad cash by any stretch of the imagination but it is going above and beyond paying for its upkeep every month and means that the web hosting and domain registration bills don’t involve me reaching into my own pocket, just paying the bills out of the same paypal account the revenue comes into.

The most important reason against moving is that i like my small but consistant core group of readers that keep coming back. From experience its hard work getting regular readers to change from one blog to another and getting them to all change their blog rolls and/or link lists, next to impossible. I like their blogging company and don’t want to loose them for the sake of an address change. That would be foolish.

So until the urge passes to change address, i am staying put and as long as necessary i am going to be telling myself just that fact!
