Its AFL Grand Final
day here in Australia, just about the biggest sporting event of the year. Half the country sits around the tv drinking beer watching the football. I was trying to think of any sporting event here thats bigger, maybe the boxing day test ?
I also made the mistake of trying to do somegrocery shopping a while back. Its worse than christmas with everyone wanting to do their shopping before the game starts. The lines were snaking way back and it crossed my mind that maybe i might die before getting to the checkout and i felt bad for my regular readers who would be wondering what happened to me, never to blog again.
