The day started with such potential today. Putting on my pants i realised the coin pocket felt a little heavy and i pulled out $25 in notes and more in coins that i put in there last time i wore the pants and had forgotten that i had put there. Don’t you love those moments when you find forgotten money. It puts such a bright outlook on the day as you ponder what to do with your sudden influx of wealth and the day afterwards looks that little bit brighter and positive and nothing can ruin it.

Well thats the theory but i ruined it by going to work. It took my literally 5 hours of my day at work to just get through the emails that had built up over the couple of days off that i had last week. Five freaking hours. I had work to do but instead i am doing emails. Frack me to coin a useful phrase that comes to mind.

Even my lunch was a little off what it usually should. I thought that with my not so ill gotten gains from my pocket that i would celebrate by heading to lunch and getting a good hamurger. I’m not talking the crappy McDonalds but a proper cooked to order burger. There is a speciality restuarant i go to to get such burgers and i ordered. Grabbed my takeaway in its brown paper bag and back to work only to discover that i had been robbed, Not just robbed but dare i say deprived of my the bacon that was supposed to be in there.

After that the day slide by. I am loosing half a day in a meeting tomorrow. Oh joy, oh delight. But i don’t care really because its 4 more sleeps and then i have two and a bit weeks off work on holidays.
