Its not been a good day for me and computers. I needed a hard drive and so i thought i would just grab a hard drive out of one of my old computers. Not being sure what was on the disks i thought i would just plug each of the computers and grab what ever disk had nothing important on. Twenty seconds after turning on one of the computers, a burning smell and the monitor going off as the video card blew.

Moving on to later, i tried out a computer tuning program. It certainly made things a lot faster but i expect thats somehow related to the fact that the computer refused to do anything related to networking, not much good when i want to use it online. I ended up fixing it by assigning an ip address, dns servers and gateways. Its working now but i think i will just leave it being a little slower!
