Today i had some mixed news that has left me feeling a little lost and unsettled. Long time readers would remember Suzi for longt times back. She was a friend that i have known a long time and chased for almost as long and in the end i lost out. Then there was the suprising news, she was pregnent. At that stage i backed off, said obviously we would see less of each other and that she just needed to call. I have not seen her since. It was … disappointing.
Today I got a message. Billie Marie born 9.25am this morning.
I am feeling a bunch of mixed feelings that is hard to describe and ten times harder to write. Its a feeling of happiness for her, a feeling of loss. It might have a tinge of jealiousy and a hundred other ingredients. Its just … difficult.
Good luck to her, to her partner and her child. I do wish them all well.
