Its interesting to read that Akismet, the anti comment spam plugin i use on this blog is coming up on a big milestone, One billion comment spams. At the time of writing its sitting on 993,083,358 so am expecting that its not going to take long to get there at all.

Now i am a big fan of Akismet because here is what it does for me. It stops all those annoying comment spams trying to sell me or get links from me for drugs, porn and what ever else. At the time of writing its managed to stop 26,457 spam comments. And that has to be a good thing!
