The Information age is an exciting time to be online and blogging. Bloggers and the Internet Personalities are the Rock Stars of the internet and reach millions of fans every day. Like Rock Stars its possible too for a home blogger to be plucked from obscurity and become tomorrows star.
In a little over 69 days (at the time of writing), PostieCon blog conference is due to kick off using the theme Youre a Rock Star. Its aim is simply, its aiming to educate bloggers on how to build their traffic and readership, and use your notoriety and your own unique brand to create value and monetize your blogging. But before you think thats it is just all about making money from your blog, its primary goal is to make you a better blogger.
I have just been checking out the website and its got some of the biggest names in blogging today to attend that includes:
- Robert Scoble, a well known blogger listed on Forbes Top 25 Web Celebrities and for his time as a technical evangelist at Microsoft
- Michelle Madhok the founder of SheFinds.com and SheFindsMom.com which are both online publications that help busy women shop the web for the beauty and style products
- Jim Kukral is a well known online marketing expert and blogger whose main focus is helping business and bloggers make money and find publicity online.
Thats but a small selection of the guess speakers. Its certainly the chance to get some knowledge and tips to make you a better blogger.
