I was thinking about censorship earlier as it relates to blogging and while i am a believer in an open blog, sometimes i avoid posting some stuff so does that make it censorship or just discretion?
I am guessing it depends on the blogging style of the blog. There is stuff i am never going to post because its about work or my idenity for obvious reasons (not only because with the right information identity theft is possible) . But its just this, sometimes something happens and i just don’t want to share it whether it be good or bad and while it does happen there is some stuff that i leave out.
But the reason that i say that is that i have a secret, a big fat blogging secret and i am not sure to let it out or keep it inside. Confession is good for the soul but just as easy a soul can be sent for eternal damnation and for this one i would probably end up in a special hell, the kind of place that they send the souls of people who talk constantly at the movies.
So what about you? Do you censor or do you just blurt out every little thing ?

Depends. If I really want to say something and don’t care if it’s public, I post. If I want to say it but don’t want the world to see, I post it to friends using filters on LJ or VOX. In rare cases I start to type something and then just delete wondering why I’d tell ANYONE that, so typing it was therapeutic but doesn’t need to be published.
