Well as mentioned it wasn’t going to take long … and it didn’t. I have now passed the 30000 mark of spam comments with a delightful and thoughtful comment on something you do not want to hear about.
I celebrated the milestone by getting a commercial subscription to the Akismet plugin – best way to say thanks and i do qualify as a Pro-blogger right now.

Not celebrating spam so much as i just dunno how many posts i have and out of 30000 spam attempts on this blog, none succeeded!
