You know, i am not one for milestones normally. I blog, i post. I have multiple blogs and i really honestly couldn’t even tell you how many posts i have online. I know my journal has 4316 posts in it so i guess thats an achievement.
Of course i also make life complicated by the fact that some of my blogs cross post into my journal which means if i just added the number of posts together then things would be over stated. But i guess it means i have a little over 5000 blog posts. Big Number now that i think about it. But no milestone, if i am not sure exactly of the number then i can’t have a milestone post at “somewhere close to around about close enough to 5000″ now can I? And to be honest i don’t care to anyway.
But there is one milestone that i am fast approaching that i do care about. I make no secret of the fact that i hate blog comment spam and employ both Akismet and Bad Behavior to stop them to the point that no spam bot has ever successfully posted its comment to my blog. At the time of writing that is 29,874 spam blog comments that i have dodged and zero posted. So the big milestone of 30,000 spam comments will be passed sometime in the next day. Not sure when but since i have had over 600 attempts by spammers today so best guess, not long.
