Well I am happy to say that after feeling it had been going on for rather a long time, the world cup is now over. I managed to stay awake for most of the game and only fell asleep once briefly where i missed all the controversy of bad match referee decisions. It was after 6am and i had been awake all night so these things happen and by all accounts i did not miss something, just some people playing

I would have to say though that the best part of the whole game was watching Adam Gilchrist bat. His skills and abilities are simply awesome and he is just about the ultimate one day batsman when he gets going so the 149 in the finals was pure gold. Sure the rest of the team is good but he is just a cricketing freak!
