Is it just me or has the Cricket World Cup been going on forever? It certainly seems to have been going on for about a million years now. In actual fact it is only running from 13 March to 28 April but i am sure its been running for at least a few centuries (bad cricket pun i know)

Its with that thought in mind that i am so disappointed to be sitting here an hour after the final was due to start with the 1992 final being replayed on tv to fill in time until and indeed if it stops raining in Barbados. The replay is getting close to ending so the real cricket will need to start soon otherwise i will condemed to watching the replay of another final or worse, Simon O”Donnell, Mark Taylor and Ian Healy talking about the game and the good old days. Anything but that.

Please let it have stopped raining.
