Being a Hobart boy I was driving past the Bellerive Yacht club today I pondered whether Tony Bullimore would ever be leaving as his catamaran Doha seemed to be becoming a fixture at the end of the marina, only to discover when i got home that it was likely he was leaving tomorrow. Amazing the power of my thought processes isn’t it. I guess tomorrow morning will be the last time for a while that i see that mast.

Then it crossed my mind that being a man of leisure and all i should turn out and support so I dropped an email to his press people. I got a prompt reply telling me that he is sailing out at midday with a 10am press conference and that i was welcome to attend.

A press conference is something that i have never seen. You see them on movies but not in person and while it would be interesting i think i will give it a miss. Unless i take the dvd back that i have out tonight! Hope i don’t have to think of a question!
