I’m shocked to read that Paris Hilton, Hilton family heiress has died aged 26. She is best known as a celebrity from when a home made sex video was leaked on to the internet and is widely believed to have helped not only her public image but also her career as an actress, sometimes model and singer.
More recently Paris was in the news, this time for all the wrong reasons. Caught driving under the influence of alcohol while her licence was suspended she was ordered to report to prison for 45 days no later than 8 June 2007. Despite her attemptd to shift the blame from her to her staff in the end she conceeded that she was going to prison.
Paris pasted away in the early hours of 19 May 2007 from complications rising from her condition, known as skanky ho which ultimately killed her.
I don’t know about anybody else but i am sick of hearing about Paris Hilton. Her sole contribution to the world seems to be that she is a skanky ho who will do anything to keep her name in the spotlight. Obviously a gossip column writers delight but something that i don’t need or want to be bombarded with.
Her latest brush in the newspapers has been nothing short of pathetic as she has repeatedly tried to shift the blame from herself over her latest DUI and driving without a licence conviction. I wonder what it is about celebrities that think that the law and responsibilities do not apply to them. My only regret is that she didn’t get longer. DUI can kill not only the driver but innocent people around them and her disregard of previous more leniant sentances was just selfish.
But there is good news in it all. A New York Gallery, The Capla Kesting Fine Art, is inviting students to compete for prizes by composing an obituary for Paris Hilton based on the clay model “Paris Hilton Autopsy”. Hopefully they might be more sincere than my attempt above!

Unfortunately, the real “news” has turned into tabloid garbage so they can sell more commercials. FoxNews and CNN and everyone else eat up all the celeb nonsense all too much anymore…
I want my news back, no matter how depressing it may be… Until then I’m going to go back to rereading 1984 and The Wanting Seed until the words are burned into my head.
