Some days ago now Tony Bullimore started his attempt to get the world record for being the fasted solo sailor in the world. Saddly due to gear failure that attempt has now been scrapped due to gear failure and his going to attempt it again next summer.

My thoughts about Bullimore are a little confused, on one hand i keep thinking that its foolish and that a 68 year old should be taking the time to relax, enjoy retirement but on the other hand i say good on him for trying to achieve his goals while the rest of us just pretend.
