I have become one of the cool kids it seems and joined the swelling ranks of the cool kids with Twitter Accounts. For those that aren’t aware, Twitter is a micro-blogging platform designed to let users send short updates via their website, instant messaging, SMS or an application. Its big with a lot of the bigger names publishing their microblogging at various times during the day
Maybe its my timing but so far i have been less than impressed with my first impressions of Twitter. The website has been up and down like a yoyo and despite repeated efforts it has been somewhat impossible to get it to verify on instant messenger programs. Even signing up was a battle with it so far having been impossible to get IM client to actually work, something i would prefer since the last thing i want to be doing is logging on to their website or paying international price on a SMS.
Update: It seems i am not alone in my Twitter problems judging by this article on Techcrunch regarding Twitter’s problematic nature
