Today was my rostered day off and i made the most of it … by sleeping in. You should never rush into a RDO without being fully rested afterall. Having a weekday off meant that i cold go to the movies and avoid the crowds seeing Oceans 13. I am not a fan of the crowded cinemas as i always end with one of three

1. If it is a comedy then the person behind always repeats everything funny said
2. They have something noisy like a chips packet that they make the most possible noise with at every opportunity
3. They kick or put their feet up on the back of my seat

Maybe it happens to everyone in crowded cinemas but it gives me th shits.

And how was the movie? Well it sees the crew reunited when Reuben is swindled out of a casino deal with ruthless casino entity Willy Banks and causes him to have a heart attack. Danny and crew won’t stand for the double cross and united with old enemy Benedict. They execute a major plan that unfolds on opening night not for the money but for revenge.

So how was it? My reaction was “meh yeah ok” It was i enjoyable enough but unlike the original and second movie there wasn’t really the whole “wheels inside wheels” was far less planned and lost some of the attraction that they brought as their cons were executed. Also missing from the current movie was Julia Roberts and the replacement leading lady Ellen Barkin could have just been left out with her role more there to have her there with a low cut dress than any meaningful contribution.
