On the weekend i managed to find myself in an interesting situation. I have a VideoEzy two minutes away that once in a while i rent a movie from there and when they have sales i buy cheap ex rentals and new dvds. At a guess I probably rent once every couple of months and buy less often as i prefer Blockbuster a couple of suburbs away.

So my situation. It seems one of the dvds i bought around 1500 days ago was scanned as a rental as well as a sale which meant that since the movie has never been returned, its a little overdue, 1500 days to be precise. I am not sure why any of the other times i have rented from there but this time they asked and it was according her a considerable overdue fee. Luckily there was a supervisor to sort it out otherwise i would have had 1500 days of late fees to pay.

Oh and for the record, the movie was The Sweetest Thing that i bought for the then girlfriend. Since we haven’t spoken in a long time i doubt she would be returning it for me.
