After all the excitement last night with the myer store fire in the cold light of day the damage could be seen even from a distance.

The historic facade didn’t stand up to the stresses of the fire and is scheduled to be demolished in the next day or two. Meanwhile fightfighters are continuing to pour water on hotspots with the danger of a flare up not over yet.
