Tomorrow we here in Tassie move an hour ahead of the rest of the East Coast of Australia when daylight savings starts overnight tonight. I am a big fan of daylight savings and would love to have it all year round. I never care much about going to work in the dark but coming home in the dark its depressing.

There is just one question though that i do need to ask about daylight savings and one hour ahead of the rest of the east coast of Australia. If its one hour ahead, why are the tv programs only a 1/2 hour later than their usual time on tv?
