I have come to the conclusion that although it is less than a month until november 24, it is never the less going to be a long time.

For those that are not in Australia, a Federal election has been called with the election being 24 November and even before the election was called it was sliding into the negative side of things and since then both sides have been trying to scare the general population into voting for them, especially the liberals who are in power now.

I must admit i am not a fan of the strategy of negative advertising. It doesn’t work and indeed it generally backfires encouraging me instead towars the idea of voting for who they are trying to scare me off voting for. I am not sure why, whether its the whole rebelling against what they trying to tell me but more likely i think it is just in response to negativity and frustration that they aren’t telling me anything i want to hear.

So in short so far the liberals have spent millions of dollars on tv advertising to at this stage persuade me to vote Labor. How about that, they must be pleased.
