I was just thinking, i have been in the workforce now for around 18 years or so and yet this is the first time i have ever done this. Its an exciting achievement and one of note.
Its the first time i have ever got my tax return in on time.
Yes I know, there are those 4 months after the end of the financial year to get the return done and in to the tax office but i just never seem to quite get aroun to it an before i know it, its overdue.
But this year i decided to be different, to take a stand. To boldly go where i have never been again. I put my tax return in before it was due. I know, why reverse the habit of a lifetime but i just felt like doing something new, different. Fresh and new.
So i am happy to announce my tax return is done, dusted and submitted. Bring on next time now, i am on a roll (of one)!

did it again! and there I was thinking that you were going to talk about your first time…. geez my mind is in the gutter!
congrats on getting the tax return done. don’t be like me and owe the damn tax office $1800 due to HECS debt.

You just have a rude mind is what it is. Its not just in the gutter, i think it it has gone down the gutter and into the drain.
Luckily i never passed year 12 and didn’t go to uni - so no hecs debts here for me!
