I got some strangely labelled mail today with the envelope printed “I’m sorry my Crocodile Ate Your Poodle”. Yeah thats a certain way to get my attention although i would have been more worried still if a poodle owner.

Opening the letter i was suprised to discover it wasn’t about dogs being fed to reptiles but instead it was advertising material for the new X Trail trying to persuade me to spend a lot of money to buy one of the new model. Its an interesting read with a combination of pictures of crocodiles with quotes like:

Inside every sensative new age Croc is probably a poodle. hic

Its an interesting approach and it was probably the difference between me opening the letter and binning it. Now i might even go and test drive one. Who knows!
