Well that is a new record for me. 10am and the whole Christmas thing in my family is over and done with for another year already which is ok, not being a Christian makes the day largely about the kids (my niece and nephew) so once visiting them is over, its time to move on. Once with my Grand Parents still alive there was the obligatory roast lunch and day spent there with them but that is well in the past now that they are gone.
This year we had a Christmas breakfast, the kids got to do the unwrapping presents first thing and then they were due at the in laws at 10.30am so it meant that unlike times past, things were not going to be dragging on so it was dog into the back of the car and back home for a quiet day i expect. Grissom got to play with their dog for a while but most of his efforts involved sitting at the back door wanting to come in as it looked like lots of interesting stuff (to him) going on indoors.
Now that i am thinking about it, while the weather is rather ordinary i might head into town for a while as since nothing is open, it will probably be quiet and look like a ghost town which means there might just be a photo or two in it for me.
