You know, there are certain things that you just take for granted in the world and when it comes to the internet one of them is having Netscape there to use when i want it and now i read on Techcrunch that AOL To Discontinue Netscape Browser Development and the Netscape Blog confirms the end of support.

Its a sad day. Until Firefox branched off from Netscape in 1998 i was a big fan of Netscape much preferring it over the Internet Explorer offerings from Microsoft and much preferred its feel even back then and it was only when i found firefox that i left it.

But still, i expected it to always be there never the less. I am guessing that had it not been for firefox then it would still be going strong. Oh well.
