I thought listening to the cricket on the radio at work today that this post would be a dummy spit after what could be best described as great bowling by the Indians or alternatively dismal batting by the Australians. But now as i am sitting here watching with the Aussies 5/156 its a lot better than it could have been.
I was also thinking as i listened and again as i sit here watching that who would want to be a top level umpire. After what was bad umpiring during the second test between India and Australia they are so under the microscope that even one mistake can become a huge issue and a lot of what is happening is just so fast that there is pressure on any decision you make.
Come on Aussie

Hey Hey Greg,
Glad to have found acricket loving blogger. I am Hersh an Indian fan living in UK. I can’t highlight the hatred Britishers have for the sport more so because of their Ashes adventures.
Rearding this Test, the game starts at 2.30 in teh morning GMT, so i try to watch it as long as I can during the night. But when I woke up this morning and saw Sehwag batting I was proper baffled.Should have been Clarke, or Symonds, or atleast Lee. But Aussies all out within a day by a newbie INdian pace attack, one of them is a 37 year old rookie, another 19 year old lankie. WHats happening!!
Fingers crossed fr a great test!

Hey Hersh - no just missed your comment, sorry about that.
Its interesting to read that the english hate the game since it started there. Bet if they had of won the ashes last time then it would have been a different story indeed!
So far its been an odd game to be sure. Lots of wickets and now the Australians have to bet the record 4th innings score. It will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow, i predict India to win
