Just looking at the pictures of the British Airways aircraft that crashed at Heathrow in the UK. The under carriage is just gone and its resting on its engines and looking wrecked the way only a formerly expensive aircraft can. Its a miracle that it didn’t end up more serious with only 13 passengers injured.

I had started to ponder what a disconcerting sight it must be for passengers on other aircraft and those waiting to catch their flights it must be when i started to think about how they would actually remove it anyway. Its not as if they can just call in a flatbed trailer to tow it away like they would with a car smash not to mention that it is one of the world’s busiest airports.

Hopefully by the next time i go to fly i will have forgotten about it!
