I had the chance to watch the first episode of Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles which has just started here in Australia.

The story picks up two years after the end of the second movie Terminator 2 with John and his mother Sarah on the run living their lives through a series of false identities. When someone gets too close they move on to a new place and new identity. On one such move John starts at a new high school and a girl, Cameron, takes an interest in him. Then a Terminator disguised as a substitute teacher tries to kill John and Cameron turning out to be a Terminator machine herself sent back from the future to protect him. An Arnie that looks like a ballerina.

Overall i found it enjoyable enough to watch though there were some minor things that annoyed me. In particular the Terminator machines. They are instinctive killing machines with razor sharp reflexes so why when someone is driving a car at high speed at them do they just look confused and get hit. Not much instinctive behavior there.

Overall, i thought it worth a look an will certainly be watching future episodes.
