Lets face it, you just sit down to start eating dinner or to watch your favourite tv show and the phone rings. It is a telemarketer wanting to sell you something and they are going to be persistent to try and get that sale. Annoying isn’t it.
Luckily there are things you can do to try and reduce the frustration. I have just been looking at Phone Spam Filter – Australia which when you get a call from a telemarker you can type their number in and see what others have been saying about the call. You can find out more about them such as whether they are fraudsters and can’t be trusted.
Now the good thing about this system is the more people that complain, the bigger the database which means that using automated blocking techniques means that you can be free of their calls for good.
I must admit, I was a little confused as to the purpose of this service. After all there is the do not call service you can get your numbers put on already but it takes time and effort to make a complaint which isn’t going to work when they are a quick “fly by night” type telemarketer.
