Pop Up Tv - I want one!

Posted by Greg in September 1st 2008

I was just looking around online and noticed a great idea that I wouldn’t mind in my bed room. You know how you like to lie in bed and watch tv (well I do anyway!) but don’t like the tv in the way all the time? Well I do anyway so I was intrigued to see that a pop up tv had been invented that hides itself away when not needed. What a great idea and I must get one!

Acne

Posted by Greg in August 31st 2008

I was on the bus the other day and I saw a guy with bad acne. It bad me sad as he would be teased without mercy I expect. Pizza face and who knows what else he would have to cop from people and not a chance of date with any girl he wanted. I hope it clears up for him one day soon!

Long time no update

Posted by Greg in August 31st 2008

Wow long time no update hey but at least i have kept the daily photoblogs updating. Things here have been a little busy with work being totally mad and then on top of that being home i have had the “joy”of the new puppy coming hoe. Boyd is a lovely little fellow but is a little odd as at times for no reason he will skip and other times just start barking for no real reason. And then there has been the lack of sleep with barking from early in the morning which has meant my whole sleep pattern has been changed to accommodate early mornings.

Its a bit hard to read how my other dog Grissom. I think he is enjoying having the company (which is what my aim was) but i think he gets tired of the puppy at times, especially when it wants to play and run around - he just looks confuesed and bemused

Hooked Already

Posted by Greg in August 25th 2008

I just watched the first episode of Jekyll and what can i say, its so freakingly different and i can’t help but be drawn to it. The first episode was impressive to say the least as it follows Tom Jackman, the modern day decendant of the real life Dr Jekyll.

Now here is where it gets interesting. Tom Jackman is a mild mannered family man with two kids who discovers that he is sharing his body with a dark side, a charming and dangerous Mr Hyde who has super human speed and strength.

A great pick for the free dvd from a buy 2, get one free offer.

Suprise

Posted by Greg in August 25th 2008

It is interesting where I end up some days when surfing the interweb and today I certainly found myself a lot more off course than usual. I was looking at Dansko clogs which are available in a whole lot of different styles and while I never thought of it, styles for men too. It was more than a little surprising as I didn’t think of it for men.

The Highest

Posted by Greg in August 19th 2008

I had to chuckle when i read an article about five students expelled for sniffing aerosol cans on school grounds when the article revealed that the school motto is “Ï strive for the highest”. Great to have them putting in so hard to achieve the motto!

Great Coverage

Posted by Greg in August 19th 2008

Here i am trying to get coverage of the womens sprint or even the womens basketball and despite channel 7 being the main broadcaster, sbs a complementary broadcaster and abc with coverage on the radio. Instead i am reduced to reading the commentary in a chat room.

I hate you channel 7

So far, its good

Posted by Greg in August 14th 2008

Well here we are well into the Olympics and i don’t know about anywhere else but watching the games here in Australia you could be just about mistaken for not realising that there was much going on other than swimming going on. Even more so the event has for us Aussies been dominated by the great performance of Stephanie Rice who has won two individual gold medals and another gold for relay gold with all three in world record time. Until these games i had only seen the media circus surrounding her and her ex boyfriend Eamon Sullivan so it is pleasing to discover that she is so down to earth and a pleasure to listen to.

For me I more a fan of other sports and in particular the basketball, hockey and football which has been a challenge, the coverage is revolving around the swimming, diving and gymnastics. Sadly Australia is out of the soccer and on the way out of mens basketball so i just got to pin my viewing hopes on the Opals, Australia’s womens basketball team and our hockey teams!

Oh and one other thing. Comme On Aussie!
